I offer 3 different sizes: Large, Regular, and Petite. Below are the ranges of each headband to assist you in finding your “fit”. “Unstretched” refers to the headband sitting on a flat surface (meaning it’t NOT on anyones’ head). “Stretched” refers to the comfortable maximum stretch the headband can expand to a persons’ head. These basically aid you in ruling out what is NOT your size.
~*~ Large:
-unstretched: 22 ¾ inches
- stretched: 24 ½ inches
~*~ Regular
Unstretched:22 inches
Stretched: 23 3/4 inches
~*~ Petite:
Unstretched: approx. 21 ½
Stretched: 23 ¼ in.
Measuring your head…
wrap a tape- measure around your head, just behind your ears. I am well aware that not everyone wears their headband exactly in this spot; however, is at least offers a fairly consistent place for both you and me to measure.
Finding your fit…
Once you find your head measurement, you will find yourself “ between sizes” and wondering, “should I get a Large or a Regular?” Your final choice depends on what type of fit you like. The best rule of thumb is go with the band that is the the closest your measurement.
For example, my head measures 22 1/8 inches. This puts me into the Regular size (22- 23 ¾ in). I can fit the Large size, however it is almost too loose.
It is sort of a tricky business figuring it all out; however, is it worth it!
